Faro de Punta Nati

Most of the year all there is to be seen on this desolate cape are sheep and the lighthouse. But in the spring the citizens of Cuitadella make their way along the bumpy road towards the cape. What they are looking for are the capers that grow in the shade of the stone walls. Pickled in brine for a couple of weeks these tender buds mature into one of Menorca's delicacies. The lighthouse has stood on this spot since 1913, from here you get a fantastic view out to sea.
